Welcome in Slumpbusters! The Heisman race in 2021 had a lengthy list of preseason hopefuls but only one made it to the end. Bryce Young a week after securing another SEC Championship for Alabama was given the most prestigious award in College Football. Young set a SEC Championship record for passing yards in the win against a Georgia defense that had given up just over 40 points all season. Young threw for over 4,322 yards with 43 touchdowns and the second best QBR in the nation at 88.9. Other players that were invited to the ceremony included Ohio State's C.J. Stroud, Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett and Michigan pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson. Young, a sophomore, has an opportunity to defend his Heisman as he is not yet eligible to enter the NFL Draft after this season. #RollTide #BryceYoung #Alabama
