Making the Case for Philip Rivers in the Hall of Fame

1/31/2021

Philip Rivers has officially announced his retirement after 17 seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts. Now that the eventual high school coaches playing career has come to and end, is there a place for him in Canton? Where does he rank against other Hall of Fame quarterbacks with similar resumes? Do his statistics outweigh his lack of postseason accomplishment?

Brandon Staley a Pleasant Surprise for the Chargers?

1/31/2021

Brandon Staley is the new head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. The former Rams defensive coordinator will hope to successfully replace the departing Anthony Lynn. Staley's Rams unit was the no. 1 defense in the NFL, can he replicate that with Joey Bosa & Derwin James? Is he the answer that Justin Herbert and the Chargers need to make a playoff run?

Is Cam Newton Still a Starter in 2021?

1/31/2021

In a recent interview on the Greg Hill Show, Cam said 'Hell No' to the prospect of being a back-up. If Cam Newton still sees himself as a starter where should he land? Is he still a Top-32 QB in the NFL despite his horrid 2020 passing numbers? Will he be back with New England? A lot to answer but here's my thoughts.

Rams Swap Goff for Stafford, Trade Multiple First Round Picks

1/31/2021

The first big quarterback domino of the NFL off-season has fallen as the Rams and Lions have agreed to make a trade. Detroit will be sending longtime veteran Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams. The Lions will retrieve in the deal Jared Goff, a 2021 3rd round pick, 2022 first round pick and 2023 first round pick. Did the move for Stafford make the Rams a Super Bowl favorite? Did the Detroit Lions make the right move going away from Stafford and brining in Jared Goff?
